Terms of Use

TrainWiz (the "Service") is operated by recree. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The Service

TrainWiz is a personal fitness companion app. You complete real workouts; we count reps using on-device pose detection and level up a virtual pet. The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TrainWiz. If you are under the legal age of majority in your country, you may use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Subscriptions

Some features (continued pet evolution past Level 2, Live Co-op invite sending) require a TrainWiz Pro subscription, purchased through your app store (Apple In-App Purchase on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android).

3.1 Plans and pricing

  • Monthly: billed every month at the price shown in the app.
  • Yearly: billed once per year. Yearly plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Trial eligibility is governed by your app store's standard rules (one free trial per subscription group per Apple Account on iOS, or per Google account on Android).

Exact prices, trial availability, and billing dates are shown on the purchase sheet (Apple on iOS, Google Play on Android) before you confirm and may vary by region.

3.2 Auto-renewal

All subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your app store account (Apple Account on iOS, Google account on Android) is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the renewal date. The renewal price equals the current price of the plan you chose.

3.3 Managing or canceling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions or the Google Play app → Subscriptions on Android, or via the "Manage subscription" link in the TrainWiz Settings tab. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

3.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by your app store. On iOS, submit a request through reportaproblem.apple.com . On Android, request a refund from your Google Play order history .

4. Your content

Anything you enter into the app — custom pet names, pronouns, display name — remains yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content for the purpose of providing the Service (for example, showing your display name to friends you invite).

Don't submit content that is illegal, harassing, or otherwise offensive. We may remove content that violates this rule.

Live Co-op conduct. Live Co-op lets you share live video and audio with friends you invite. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior during these sessions. You can remove or block any friend at any time from the Friends tab — this immediately stops them from inviting or contacting you. If someone behaves abusively, leave the session, remove them, and report it to hello@zen-labo.com; we review reports and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this rule.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to break the app.
  • Use bots, automation, or fake pose data to inflate progress.
  • Resell or commercially redistribute the app or its content.
  • Use the app for any activity that violates applicable law.

6. Health and safety disclaimer

TrainWiz is not a medical device or a fitness coach. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. We are not responsible for any harm that results from following workouts in the app.

7. Intellectual property

The app, including its pet characters, illustrations, and code, is the property of recree and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The pet artwork includes Gemini-assisted generation curated and edited by us.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where recree is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.
